History

Sevastopol Station is the collective name for a system of docking stations, defense platforms, and weapon batteries defending Mandeville point TK-421, better known as the “Gate to Golloch”. This point provides the most stable warp translation out of anywhere in the Golloch Cluster. The station was originally constructed to defend the region against the Imperium during the Great Crusade, and was rebuilt post-compliance with trade, resupply, and mercantilism being the main focus. Prior to the news of Isstvan hitting the system, Sevastopol Station was the first and last place visited by most any ship as it came and went into the Golloch Cluster.

Once the ideas of Heresy crept into the Cluster, the Sevastopol Station immediately became a point of high priority by sympathizers of both causes, with immediate rearming of the station and militarizing of the station became top priority, and battles broke out across the station. Whoever controls the Gate of Golloch controls the flow of reinforcements, supplies, and quite possibly the the greater war of Golloch itself.
