Greetings Grandmaster de Molay,
It is becoming obvious from the lack of incoming transmissions that the Phonicas system has somehow been isolated or blocked, although outgoing transmissions appear, to some extent, to be getting through. A number of recent arrivals have confirmed this, but the transmissions are randomly being delayed or misdirected. As such I will continue making regular reports and will continue operating under the previous orders issued until I receive new ones.
The System has continued to slide into chaos with heavy skirmishing now confirmed on the three most strategic outlying planets; Quinto, Fearis and the Waypoint K42. Quinot and Fearis have been subject to scattered Tyranid incursions, whilst K42 is the focal point of a large pitched battle.
Whilst it is worrying to confirm a Tyranid presence, it appears to be light and no indications of a Hive Fleet can be found, however this may shed some light on the warp disruptions we are experiencing with communications.
More worryingly is the method in which the Phonicas forces have defended the planets. It is clear that they have indeed allied themselves with Xenos forces; in fact the continued defence of both K42 and Fearis was spearheaded by Eldar military assets.
Unfortunately the escalated conflicts at K42 has also led to the premature exposure of our Death Korps allies when they were forced into a confrontation with Astartes elements backed by regular Imperial Guard loyal to Gaustev. At this stage the expected Sororitas forces have not arrived and it appears the breakaway Astartes chapters sympathetic to our cause are unwilling to commit to shedding the blood of their kin at this time.
