Campaign Summary

The Aminira system, known by the 255th Expeditionary Fleet as the fifteenth world to be brought to compliance, was a cluster dotted by four major planetary bodies. Amiri, a non-compliant hive world, Hakkario, an arid inhospitable death world, Hap-Tarkis, a gas giant surrounded by two habitable moons Eplis and Corris and finally Jellar, a small ice planet on the fridge of the system.

The systems significance had risen to prominence after long range orbital scans identified the signals of a lost bastion of humanity that had survived Old Night. Initial contact had been friendly and compliance seemed to have been achieved early, the Imperial Army had even begun to occupy the cities of Amiri.

Compliance was acknowledged swiftly by the human population and the expedition sought to press forward to continue the Emperor's Great Crusade. Six months later however, communications with the system had been lost, and word had reached the expedition from the Warmaster’s equerry Malogurst that the system governor had issued an edict cutting ties from the Imperium.

The expedition and the Lord Commander, infuriated by this affront, ceased its current activities and returned to Aminira. Despite the Lord Commander's wish to remove this stain upon his honour, greater plans were afoot and none, not even the Warmaster himself can predicts its conclusion.
