Combat Summary
Sigismund, champion of the Imperial Fists, with units of veterans, Templars, and infantry, was attempting to consolidate with Loyalist forces east of the Obelisk Canal when pictfeeds reported the possible presence of Word Bearer chaplain Norek Ull exhorting the cult hordes blocking their path. It's unfortunate, then, that Sigismund chose to attack the horde and slay the traitor chaplain, because it wasn't Ull. Instead, the entire Loyalist force was bogging down under a seemingly endless wall of cultists, while the Word Bearer squads, after driving the mortals before them, moved to block the Imperial Fists lines of retreat.
