History

Alseid was terraformed in the ancient, unremembered past and now serves as a vassal world of the Lord of Mariah’s Landing. Most of the available land surface of Alseid is given over to manorial farms and woodlands; however, over 85% of Alseid’s surface is covered in ocean. Water processing for export represents a major source of income for the Dukes of Edgemore. Fishing and aqauculture are also widely practiced. The lord of Alseid hosts annual undersea hunts, where the chivalric flower of the Shoals come to match themselves against deep-leviathans whose jaws can crush a Questoris knight with ease. In this way, the Kingdom's knights win honor for themselves and gain valuable undersea combat experience.
