History

--The Randang Xenocides--

Legion Centurion Raziel Aphareel stood on the command deck of the Dark Angels' Strike Cruiser, staring out at the black expanse of space as his vessel made its way back to Holy Terra. The Rangdan Xenocides had been a brutal, bloody conflict, but Raziel and his company of Dark Angels had emerged victorious.

As he gazed out at the stars, his thoughts turned to his fellow legionaries and the sacrifices they had made in the name of the Emperor. So many brave warriors had fallen, their bodies consumed by the endless void of space. But Raziel knew that their sacrifice had not been in vain. The Rangdan threat had been vanquished, and the Imperium was safe, at least for now.

"Centurion," a voice said from behind him, snapping Raziel out of his reverie. He turned to see his company herald, Nadus Koddel, standing at attention. "The company awaits your orders."

Raziel nodded, his face impassive as he considered what needed to be done. "Assemble the company in the main hall," he said after a moment. "I have something to say to them."

Nadus nodded and turned to carry out Raziel's orders. The centurion watched him go, then turned back to the viewport, his thoughts once again consumed by the events of the recent campaign.

When Raziel entered the main hall, his company was already assembled and waiting for him. The legionaries stood at attention, their eyes fixed on their leader as he walked to the front of the room.

"Brothers," Raziel began, his voice loud and clear. "We have returned from the Rangdan Xenocides, victorious but not without cost. Many of our brothers have fallen in battle, their sacrifices will not be forgotten. But their deaths were not in vain. The Rangdan threat has been vanquished, and the Imperium is safe once more."

He paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing. "But the fight is not over. The Emperor's enemies are countless, and we must remain vigilant. We must continue to serve with honor and distinction, upholding the virtues of the Dark Angels and defending the Imperium from all who would seek to destroy it."

Raziel looked around the room, meeting the eyes of each of his legionaries. "We are the Emperor's finest, the chosen of the Dark Angels. Let us continue to serve with pride and honor, and may the Emperor's light guide us in all that we do."

With those words, the centurion dismissed the company, and the legionaries filed out of the main hall, ready to continue their duty in the service of the Emperor.

--Bunker 17--

Sergeant Gadreal Zhebdatis crouched behind a crumbling wall, his eyes fixed on the enemy bunker in the distance. The Rangdan Xenocides had been raging for months, and Gadreal and his squad of Interemptors had seen more than their fair share of combat. But the enemy was not giving up easily, and the bunker ahead was still heavily defended.

Gadreal turned to his squad, his face grim. "Alright brothers, it's time to move in. We'll advance on the bunker and use our heavy plasma incinerators to clear out the Rangdan holdouts. Stay sharp, and stay together."

The Interemptors nodded, their faces grim but determined. They were the elite of the Dark Angels, trained to operate in the most dangerous of situations. They were ready for whatever the enemy threw at them.

With a signal from Gadreal, the squad began to move forward, their heavy boots pounding against the dusty ground. They advanced in formation, their plasma burners at the ready as they closed in on the bunker.

As they neared the enemy position, the Rangdan defenders opened fire, unleashing a hail of bolter rounds at the advancing Dark Angels. Gadreal and his squad returned fire, their plasma burners crackling as they picked off the enemy soldiers one by one.

But the Rangdan were not going down easily. They fought fiercely, determined to hold their position at any cost. The battle raged on, with both sides taking heavy casualties.

Finally, Gadreal and his squad reached the bunker, and they quickly moved to breach the heavily fortified entrance. With a burst of plasma fire, they blew a hole in the door, and the Interemptors poured into the bunker, their heavy plasma incinerators roaring as they engaged the enemy at close quarters.

The battle inside the bunker was brutal, with both sides fighting tooth and nail for every inch of ground. But Gadreal and his squad were the superior warriors, and they quickly overpowered the Rangdan defenders.

In the end, the bunker was cleared and the Rangdan holdout was destroyed. Gadreal and his squad emerged victorious, their armor dented and scarred but their spirits unbroken. They had completed their mission, and the Imperium was one step closer to victory in the Rangdan Xenocides.
