Summary

Although there is an official Imperial space port, it was intended for small lighter craft only, transporting Government staff to and from orbit with the occasional visit from other dignitaries. The Civilian Airfield however was already the size of a large city by the time the Imperium came, catering to the neighboring Systems as a pleasure world and capable of ferrying tens of millions of passengers every hour.

Without a dedicated large scale military space port the Civilian equivalent soon became the primary target of both invading forces to ensure uninterrupted orbital transit capabilities.

Strategic Victory Points: 2 SVP per Phase

Global: The controlling factions armies may each upgrade a single Infantry unit to have the Deep Strike special rule.

Local: The defending force may reroll failed reserve rolls for Deep Striking units and Flyers.
